Junior Data Engineer
As a Junior Data Engineer at Savvy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities from the ground up. you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of data solutions from inception to completion. Working independently, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring the efficient flow and transformation of data for various projects. Your primary focus will be on crafting robust data infrastructure, optimizing data processes, and delivering high-quality data products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze diverse datasets.
- Collaborate with the founding team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Cleanse, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights and patterns from raw data.
- Perform data quality assessments and implement measures to ensure data integrity and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for tackling complex data challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
