Junior Data Analyst

As a Junior Data Analyst at savvy, you will play a crucial role in collecting, cleaning, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data in a timely and precise manner and high quality. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  1.  Utilize various sources to gather relevant data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  2. Scrub and preprocess raw data to identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
  3. Organize and structure data in preparation for analysis, employing appropriate tools and techniques.
  4. Apply statistical methods and data analysis techniques to extract actionable insights and patterns from data sets.
  5. Create clear and concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations, tailored to meet project objectives and stakeholder needs.
  6. Conduct thorough quality checks to validate analysis results and ensure adherence to project requirements.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  3. Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Excel, basic knowledge of Python, R, SQL is a plus.
  4. Basic understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings in a clear and understandable manner.
